Privacy Policy

Welcome to Fuuse, a lightweight image synthesis tool designed to help you create creative group photos. We value your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how we handle your information when you use our app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may access, how we use it, and how we protect your privacy—with a special focus on clarifying that we do not collect any of your facial data or personal biometric information.

About Fuuse Access and Account Requirements

Fuuse is designed to be simple and convenient for all users. Unlike many apps, you do not need to create an account, register, or provide any personal information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or date of birth) to use Fuuse. You can download the app and start creating group photos immediately, without any form of account login or registration process. This means we never collect, store, or use any personal identification information that could be linked to you as an individual—we don’t even ask for it.

Information We Do Not Collect: No Facial or Biometric Data

We understand that privacy is a top concern, especially when using apps that process portrait images. We want to be crystal clear: Fuuse does not collect, store, use, or share any of your facial data, facial features, or personal biometric information—under any circumstances. Below is a detailed breakdown of what this means, to ensure there is no confusion:

1. No Collection of Facial Data During Image Upload: When you upload portrait images to Fuuse (either from your photo library or by taking new photos with your camera), our app only processes the images temporarily to complete the synthesis task you request. We do not extract, identify, or collect any facial data from these images—including but not limited to facial features, facial landmarks, facial recognition data, or any other biometric information related to your face. The images are used solely for the purpose of blending them into a natural group photo, and no facial data is extracted or stored at any point.

2. No Storage of Facial Information: We never store any facial data, biometric information, or facial features on our servers or any external storage systems. All image processing happens locally on your device, and no facial data is ever transmitted to our servers or shared with any third parties. Even the temporary processing of images to create group photos does not involve saving or retaining any facial information—once the synthesis is complete, the temporary processing data is discarded immediately.

3. No Use of Facial Data for Any Purpose: Fuuse does not use facial data for any reason, including but not limited to AI model training, user profiling, marketing, tracking, or identification. Our AI model is designed solely to blend the two portrait images you upload into a cohesive group photo, and it does not learn from, analyze, or retain any facial features from your images. We do not use facial recognition technology in any part of our app, and we have no functionality that requires or uses facial data.

4. No Sharing of Facial Data: Since we do not collect or store any facial data or biometric information, there is no possibility of us sharing this information with third parties. We never sell, rent, trade, or disclose any facial data—because we never have it in the first place. Your facial privacy is fully protected, as we do not gather any information that could be used to identify you through your face.

5. No Automatic Collection of Facial Information: Fuuse does not use any background processes, trackers, or tools to automatically collect facial data from your device, camera, or photo library without your explicit action. The only images we process are the ones you actively choose to upload or capture using the app, and as stated above, we do not extract any facial data from those images.

Information We May Access (With Your Permission)

To provide our core image synthesis service, Fuuse may need access to certain features on your device, but only if you grant permission. This access is strictly limited to the functionality you need to use the app, and we never collect or store any of this information beyond what is necessary to complete your requested task:

1. Photo Library Access: When you choose to upload portrait images or background images from your photo library, Fuuse will request access to your device’s photo library. This access is only used to let you select the images you want to use for synthesis—we do not access, view, or collect any other photos in your library that you do not actively choose. We do not store any of your photos from the library on our servers; all images are processed locally on your device.

2. Camera Access: When you choose to take new portrait photos or background photos directly within the app, Fuuse will request access to your device’s camera. This access is only used to capture the images you want to use for synthesis—we do not record, store, or access any camera feed beyond the single image you capture for your group photo. Once you capture the image and use it for synthesis, the temporary camera data is discarded.

3. Local Storage Access: Fuuse saves your synthesized group photos locally on your device (in the app’s gallery feature). This storage is entirely on your device—we do not upload your synthesized works to our servers, and we do not have access to these saved images. You have full control over these synthesized works: you can view them, delete them, favorite them, or share them directly from your device, and we never access or manage these files without your explicit action.

How We Use the Information We Access

The only information Fuuse accesses (with your permission) is the images you choose to upload or capture, and this information is used for one purpose only: to provide the image synthesis service you request. Here’s a detailed breakdown of how we use this information:

1. Image Synthesis: The two portrait images you upload or capture are processed locally on your device by our AI model to blend them into a natural-looking group photo. If you choose to add a background image (from your library, camera, or our built-in templates), that image is also used in the synthesis process to create your personalized composition. This processing is temporary and only happens while you are using the synthesis feature—once the group photo is generated, the temporary processing data is discarded.

2. Local Gallery Storage: Your synthesized group photos are saved locally on your device so you can browse, view, manage, and share them at any time. These saved images are stored only on your device and are not accessible to us or any third parties. You can delete these images at any time through the app’s gallery feature, and we have no control over or access to these files once they are saved on your device.

3. No Other Uses: We never use the images you upload or capture for any purpose other than completing the synthesis task you request. We do not use them for AI model training, marketing, analytics, tracking, or any other activity. We do not extract any information from the images (including facial data, metadata, or other details) beyond what is necessary to create your group photo.

How We Protect Your Information

We take the protection of your information seriously, and we have implemented measures to ensure that any information you share with the app (such as the images you upload) is kept secure and private:

1. Local Processing: All image processing happens directly on your device, not on our servers. This means your images never leave your device unless you choose to share them (for example, by sending them to a friend or posting them on social media). We do not transmit your images or any related data to our servers or any third-party services.

2. No Server Storage: We do not store any of your images, facial data, biometric information, or personal information on our servers. The only storage related to Fuuse is the local storage on your device for your synthesized works, which you control entirely.

3. Permission Control: You have full control over the permissions you grant to Fuuse. You can manage or revoke access to your photo library, camera, or local storage at any time through your device’s settings. If you revoke a permission, Fuuse will no longer be able to access that feature (e.g., you won’t be able to upload photos from your library if you revoke photo library access), but your existing synthesized works will remain stored on your device.

Third-Party Services

Fuuse uses a limited number of third-party services to provide essential functionality, but we ensure that these services do not collect or access your facial data, biometric information, or personal information:

1. Apple In-App Purchase System: All purchases (including coins for individual synthesis and subscription plans for unlimited synthesis) are processed through Apple’s in-app purchase system. We do not collect or store any payment information—this is handled entirely by Apple, in accordance with their own privacy policies. Apple does not share your payment information or personal details with us.

2. No Other Third-Party Access: We do not use any other third-party services, trackers, analytics tools, or advertising networks that collect your information. We do not share any of your images, data, or personal details with third parties, and no third party has access to your facial data (since we do not collect it).

Your Control Over Your Information

You have full control over your information when using Fuuse, and we designed the app to put you in charge:

1. Permission Management: You can manage or revoke permissions for photo library, camera, and local storage access at any time through your device’s settings. This lets you control exactly what Fuuse can access on your device.

2. Gallery Management: You can view, delete, favorite, or share your synthesized works at any time through the app’s gallery feature. Since these works are stored locally on your device, deleting them from the app will remove them from your device entirely.

3. No Account, No Data Retention: Since Fuuse does not require an account, there is no personal data associated with your use of the app that we could retain. If you uninstall the app, all synthesized works stored locally on your device will be removed (depending on your device’s settings), and we will have no record of your use of the app—because we never collected any data in the first place.
